About

Michele Simonte is the founder of True North, a lifestyle and wellness coaching practice dedicated to helping people align their personal, professional and wellness goals. Her work is grounded in the belief that wellness is not limited to physical health. While nutrition and exercise are important foundations, true well being is shaped by stress management, internal dialogue, daily structure and the quality of our relationships.

Grounded in both academic rigor and clinical wellness training, Michele integrates strategic thinking with mind, body alignment. She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University, graduating with high distinction, and a certification in Lifestyle and Wellness Medicine from Harvard Medical School, where she trained under Dr. Beth Frates, President of the American Academy of Lifestyle Medicine, whose work approaches wellness as an interconnected system of mind, body, and emotional health. Her training reinforces what science consistently shows: our physical health is inseparable from our emotional regulation, social connection, the way we speak to ourselves and daily routines.

During her graduate studies, Michele focused on how communication patterns influence our physical health, including advanced coursework on navigating difficult conversations. This coaching philosophy helps clients recognize how the way they communicate, particularly with themselves, can either reinforce  patterns of feeling stuck or encourage meaningful growth.
